  There are still a few good deals at Costco and one of them is roasted chicken. Everyone lines up for it and it is always good! Generally the chickens are much larger than at other stores. Otherwise, the prices have risen and are comparable to a full service grocery stores. Some items in bulk are still a great offering, but when you figure in the price of membership, some of the values are less of a deal than at a full-service store. Costco remains a great family outing and kids always enjoy a slice of pizza or a hot dog combo afterwards. I guess you could say there is a Costco culture but again the prices have gone up. It is hard to get out of the Warehouse without having spent at least $150. I still enjoy Costco, but the savings on prices have greatly diminished in 2018.
