- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆July 20, 2020, by William KinyonI purchased 63 2x3 8' boards for a trellis. I paid to have them planned. The boards were horrible. I threw away 11 of them. I don't think they were planned. I wanted them planned so I would not have to sand them, and I would up sanding them anyway. Many were cracked and chipped very badly. I bought some at Lowes to replace the bad ones from Golden Valley, they were not planned and 10x better than the ones from Golden Valley. I will say the customer service was very good and friendly, but the quality of boards was not.
